Tegijal juhtub

Seemed that it will be great week, nice easy job at furniture warehouse, can earn money, focus on jijtsu, try out new angola capoeira classes.  Getting in routine and getting things done. In the weekend there was coming Halloween party as well.
Yeap fate had big bag of nope prepared for me. I managed to sprain my ankle properly at work. I literally heard cracking sound when it happened and I thought that something is really badly broken. I usually tend not to pussy out but I was not able to stand at all and put any weight on my foot and I needed help getting back to warehouse.

After doctors visit It ended up being not that bad, nothing was broke just a bad sprain. But to be honest it was weird to be second time at medical center in nz. I didn't used to go doctors that many times back in home even.
This time visit was less smooth than  last time.  It took almost 3 hours, mostly waiting time, so basically same slow system like in back home.

Interesting part about experience was that after I sprained my ankle  and I was taken back to warehouse, warehouse manager asked that if I have someone that can pick me up and take to the emergency. Was kind of "oh shit" moment. Back in home it wouldn't be a problem, you have close friends who you know and trust around you. But here it took a second to figure out who to call. All my house mates were at work and I even don't know their phone numbers. Luckily there was British guy, who I actually know that well whose phone no. I had I knew who was not working at the moment. He was luckily nice enough to take me emergency and later bring my car home as well (because of manual gearbox, can't drive it right now).
It is quite scary when somethings happens to you when you are traveling alone and you are not able to take care of yourself and you really don't know anyone that much as well. Sprained ankle is probably one of the smallest things that can happen. Makes you appreciate more the luck you have when everything is ok. And makes you appreciate kind random altruistic strangers you meet on the road.

Doctor prescribed some painkillers. Silly doctor.. might as well prescribe strawberry juice with a umbrella. I personally find that whiskey works better and is more fun.

Can't work at least for a week, but I have whiskey, so I got at least this going for me, ..which is nice.
