Lately more and more I have started appreciating ability to renounce things, places, people and countries. Amount of freedom you gain by this is unreal, there is nothing holding you back. Ofc you loose one of most basic emotional pillars what makes people who they are, social creatures craving for recognition and feeling of belonging to somewhere. But instead of being part herd of sheep you will become your own sovereign state, sovereign in your thoughts, feelings and actions. While you sip your coffee and look everyone running in circles for things that don't matter, it just makes you smile and you think by yourself "They will never understand".
Date of this post is no accident. Just thought I caught myself while observing this little Nordic country from far.
